# Cities

Section **"Cities"** is used to manage the list of locations where the service provides exchange services. This is especially relevant for sites with directions that have physical pickup/drop-off points.

### **How to add a new city**

1. Go to the menu **General → Cities**.
2. Click the button **"+ Add"**.
3. In the add form, specify the following parameters:
* **Code** – a unique city code. Used to identify the city in external services (for example, BestChange).
* **Langs / Lang** – multilingual settings for the city name. Here you can set translations for RU/EN/UA (and other active site languages).
* **Name** – the displayed name of the city (for example: Kyiv, Warsaw, Berlin).
* **Status (Enabled/Disabled)** – allows controlling whether the city will be available to users. If the status is disabled, the city is not shown on the site and is not used when creating requests.
### **List of cities**

All created cities are displayed in a table with the main fields:

* **ID** – internal identifier in the system.
* **Code** – city code (useful for integrations).
* **Name** – city name.
* **Activity** – shows whether the city is currently available on the site.
* **Actions** – edit or delete.
* **Changed in** – date of last edit
### **Management**

* You can add an unlimited number of cities.
* Cities are easy to edit: you can change the name, translations, or display status.
* Cities excluded from activity are stored in the system but are not shown to users.
* Using correct codes from BestChange ensures proper integration with monitoring services.
* **Later you can use cities when creating or editing directions**
