How to get your Cloudflare API Key

This guide will help you find the Global API Key.

Open the account home page

Start from the Cloudflare Dashboard — Account Home.

Open the profile menu

Click the profile icon in the top right corner to open the profile menu.

Go to the API Tokens section

In the left panel click "API Tokens" to open the keys and tokens management section.

View the Global API Key

If you need the Global API Key specifically, click "View" next to Global API Key.

Enter your password

Enter your account password to continue.

Confirm viewing the key

Click "View" to see your API key.

---

Copy the key

Click "Click to copy" to copy the API key to the clipboard. Store it in a safe place.

Signed in with Google/Apple and don't have a password?

If you registered via Google or Apple and don't have an account password, set a password first — then you'll be able to view the Global API Key.

Return to the profile

Sign out of Cloudflare

Click the profile icon and select "Log out".

Go to the login page

Open https://dash.cloudflare.com/

Click "Forgot your password?"

Select "Forgot your password?".

---

Provide your email

Enter the email associated with your account. You will receive a password reset email.

Click "Send"

Click "Send".

---

Reset your password

Enter the code from the email, set a new password, and complete the process. After that sign in again and return to the "API Tokens" section to view the Global API Key.
